Why does pricing say "starting at"?
The starting price covers what is listed on the tier card. Some businesses need more pages, additional locations, custom integrations, or industry-specific compliance work (HIPAA for medical, attorney advertising rules for law firms, real estate disclosure language). Those needs are real, they take real time, and they get quoted transparently before any work begins. The base price never goes up after we agree on scope.
What is Grand Opening pricing?
Grand Opening pricing applies to the first 10 paying clients of Epoch Brand Design. The rate is about one-third off the standard price in exchange for a written testimonial, portfolio rights, and a 30-minute case study after results land (typically 60 to 90 days post-launch). Same exact scope of work, same guarantees, more personal attention because the studio is intentionally small while reputation builds. Currently 3 standard slots open. After client #10, standard rates apply with no exceptions.
Is there a contract?
For the build itself, yes. A simple one-page service agreement protects both sides on scope, timeline, and payment. For the optional Care + Grow plan that follows the build, there is no contract. Month-to-month, cancel anytime with 7 days notice. Unlike Hibu, Thryv, Townsquare, and similar national platforms (which charge $200 to $400 per month on multi-year contracts), you own everything that gets built. The site, the domain, the GBP, the content. All yours.
How do payments work?
Three options. Pay in full upfront for a small bonus (extra revision round or a free $147 add-on). Standard split is 50% deposit to begin, 50% on launch day. Or three monthly payments with a small financing premium. All payments accepted via Zelle (preferred, no fees), Venmo, or card.
What if I do not like the result?
Two guarantees protect you. Design Satisfaction: if you are not happy with the final design, full refund within 14 days of launch. No interrogation, no back and forth. Visibility: if your site is not ranking for at least 3 local search terms within 90 days of launch, work continues at no additional cost until it is. These are not marketing copy. They are written into the service agreement.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes. Three monthly payments are available on every tier. The total is slightly higher than the upfront price to cover the financing cost. No interest, no third-party financing company, no credit check. Just three payments over 90 days.
How does Care + Grow compare to Hibu, Thryv, or Townsquare?
Care + Grow runs $247 per month with no contract and you own every asset (site, domain, GBP, content, email). Hibu typically runs $250 to $400 per month on a multi-year contract where you do not own the site. Thryv runs $300 to $500 per month, contract-locked into their platform. Townsquare runs $200 to $400 per month on contract with generic templates. On price alone Care + Grow is comparable to the cheapest of these. Why are you cheaper than agencies?
Agencies have account managers, project managers, designers, developers, SEO specialists, content writers, and overhead. Their price reflects payroll. I am one person who does all of those roles. The work is the same; the org chart is not. Grand Opening pricing further reflects that the studio is still building its first portfolio of case studies. Once those are established, standard rates apply.
Can I upgrade tiers after starting?
Yes, anytime. The difference between tiers is added to the next invoice with no penalty. Most upgrades happen 30 to 60 days post-launch when the initial site is live and the owner sees how much value the additional work would add.
